Aggressive Shape with Classic Styling
The Pro Series King V KVT solidbody electric guitar comes from a long line of attitude-laden Jackson Vs that have helped shape the sound of high-gain metal. But this guitar does it with an old-school twist. The King V is crafted with a graphite-reinforced maple neck running through the mahogany body. A duet of Seymour Duncan JB and ’59 pickups will nail any humbucking tone you’re searching for. And Jackson finished off the styling with block inlays, neck and headstock binding, and classy-looking pickup covers.
Jackson crafts the Pro Series King V KVT to be a high-performance solidbody electric with maximum clarity, sustain, and sonic power. The 1-piece maple neck extends all the way through the V’s body, delivering unrivaled stability and added note definition. It’s also reinforced with graphite, ensuring your neck stays where you put it. The mahogany wings add warmth and a midrange punch to the acoustic voice of the KVT. And its TOM-style hardtail bridge is fully adjustable, while further enhancing the guitar’s sustain.
Powerful and flexible electronics
The King V electric guitar’s muscle comes from a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups. In the neck, you’ll find the vintage-voiced ’59 model. This lower-output pickup delivers warm lows and a bell-like top end that works equally well with clean and high-gain tones. The JB humbucker in the bridge position — a favorite of many — is a high-output pickup with a midrange bump that helps cut through a lot of distortion and a loud band with ease.
Unlike many of Jackson’s guitars that are outfitted to look as menacing as they can sound, the Pro Series King V KVT solidbody electric guitar is all dressed up with some decidedly vintage-like ornamentation. The plated hardware looks fantastic against the KVT’s finish. Expertly applied binding can be found lining the guitar’s ebony fretboard and headstock. And the fretboard also boasts classy-looking shark-eye block inlays for a custom touch.
