Make sure its the right instrument for you
The best way to know if an instrument is right for you is to love your instrument. Make sure you fall in unconditional love with the instrument you choose. If you don’t feel that instant connection with your instrument maybe it’s not the right one for you. Learning one instrument could lead you to another instrument and help a better understanding of how you should be learning. Find some passion and eagerness and later you will find that any instrument could suit you.
Hard work trumps everything!!
Learning an instrument takes discipline and dedication there will come points where you would want to give up but never give up on your instrument. How bad do you want it is how hard you have to push yourself. With regular practice and a will to succeed you will notice subtle improvements that will give you encouragement to move on
